Le Moque Tortue is our family favourite restaurant. A short 15 min walk from Sandpiper cottage, you will be transported into another world both in its original decor and delectable seafood courses offered. Family owned and operated, the restaurant is well known for serving up delicious meals that highlight lobster, mussels, sea scallops and fresh oysters. Their pastries and desserts are all made on the premises with equal attention to detail as the mains. The feel of the place is a whimsical fantasy land of carefully curated pieces reminiscent of Alice in Wonderland. Le Moque Tortue's wine list, craft beers and cocktails are all excellent- we wouldn't be surprised if they have their own in-house sommelier too! For a fancy occasion or just hanging with friends on a weeknight, the restaurant is celebrated for their over 1000 games that adorn their walls. Reservations are recommended on weekends and the summer high season.
